Job Title: Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer

Locations Available: CA, SC, WA, TX, NM, CO, KS, VA, NC, GA, OK, MO

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:

  • Drive efficient, high-quality aircraft production through effective management of configuration control, planning, tooling, sequencing, and build processes

  • Support manufacturing and assembly operations while ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements

  • Resolve issues related to materials, processes, and tooling across production lines

  • Interpret engineering drawings and collaborate closely with Design Engineering, Tooling, Quality, and Production teams

  • Optimize manufacturing processes through detailed planning and documentation

  • Identify and address production challenges to enhance quality, efficiency, and throughput

  • Maintain compliance with HACI standards; update planning documents, BOMs, and tool orders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field

  • 2+ years of aviation or aerospace manufacturing experience

  • Strong mechanical background in sheet metal structures and production processes

  • Knowledge of aircraft assembly, sequencing, and manufacturing flow

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices

  • Proficiency in SAP, CAD/CAM, CATIA, and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR)

Desired Skills:

  • Six Sigma certification

  • GD&T training

  • A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) license

  • Experience with aircraft interiors
