Job Description

Safeguard Security Group is seeking experienced and professional Armed Security Guards to staff static access-control posts and conduct facility and perimeter roving patrols . Officers will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while enforcing site policies and procedures through a strong, visible security presence.

Duties & Responsibilities

Staff static access-control and facility roving posts
Conduct regular foot patrols and perimeter (printer) walks
Maintain a highly visible security presence , including remaining outdoors as required
Verify employee identification and badges
Sign in and screen visitors
Monitor premises and report suspicious activity
Enforce site policies, procedures, and post orders
Maintain a professional, alert, and deterrent presence at all times
Perform additional duties as directed by management

Required Qualifications

Valid New York State Armed Security Guard License
Minimum of three (3) years of armed security experience
Military Police, Law Enforcement, or Corrections experience strongly preferred

Additional Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
U.S. Citizen
High school diploma or GED
Clean criminal and credit history
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to read, understand, and follow written post orders and instructions
Flexible availability, including weekends and varying shifts

Schedule & Pay

Pay Rate: $28.00- $ 35 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time
