Sweet Bean is a coffee shop and bakery in the South Loop neighborhood of Chicago situated next to the Roosevelt CTA Station.

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Baker to join our kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves early mornings, enjoys working with their hands, and takes pride in consistency and craft.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and bake pastries, breads, and other menu items
• Follow recipes and production schedules with accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
• Assist with prep work and support other kitchen team members as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Baking or kitchen experience is a plus, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person!
• Able to work 4–6 days a week, starting at 6:00 AM
• Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working on your feet in a fast-paced kitchen environment
