POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Commercial Electrical Project Coordinator plays a key role in keeping commercial electrical projects organized, on track, and financially sound from award through closeout. This position partners closely with Estimators, Electrical Specialists, Project Managers, and Field Leaders to ensure smooth handoffs, accurate documentation, timely material procurement, and clear financial visibility throughout the life of the project.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys coordination, communication, and supporting project teams behind the scenes.

COMPENSATION:

  • Salaried Role: $60,000 - $81,000

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate project kickoff and turnover meetings from preconstruction to construction
  • Set up projects in Vista and Procore , including job numbers, cost worksheets, and billing setup
  • Act as a central point of communication between estimation, design, project management, and field teams
  • Support creation, submission, and tracking of electrical and low-voltage submittal packages
  • Assist with material and rental quotes, purchase orders, and delivery coordination
  • Prepare project turnover packets and documentation for field teams
  • Track job costs, projections, and gross profit with Project Managers
  • Create and manage monthly billings, AIA forms, and Procore invoicing
  • Facilitate progress meetings (25/50/75%) and project closeout meetings
  • Support purchase order closeout, as-builts, O&M manuals, and warranty documentation
  • Assist Project Managers with general coordination and project support as needed

Requirements

  • Experience in construction project coordination , preferably in electrical
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently while supporting multiple project teams
  • Comfort working with financial tracking, documentation, and deadlines
  • Preferred Experience with ProCore, BlueBeam, Sage 100
