**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Manassas, VA. **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** + Completing repair activities on generators or components + Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner + Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools + Maintain detailed records of service + Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies + Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products + Maintain own tools **RESPONSIBILITIES** **To be successful in this role you will need the following:** + Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. + High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. + Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision - hands on exposure to working on power generation products. + Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators. + Basic Diesel Engine experience. + Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality. **Education, Licenses, Certifications:** Apprentice Trained Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Current relevant electrical certification Locally valid driving permitThis position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. **Experience:** Minimal level of workshop related experience required.Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience **QUALIFICATIONS** Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm with weekend work and afterhours - A current valid license is required for this role - Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience - This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations **Job** Service **Organization** Cummins Inc. **Role Category** Hybrid **Job Type** Technician **Min Salary** $28 **Max Salary** $32.5 **Application End Date** 01-FEB-2026 **ReqID** 2421029 **Relocation Package** Yes **Cummins and E-Verify** At Cummins, we are an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
