Position Overview:

As a Front Desk Associate at Holiday Inn Express & Suites, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their stay. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and memorable experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
• Manage online and phone reservations
• Inform customers about payment methods and verify credit card data
• Register guests collecting necessary information
• Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
• Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
• Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs
• Inspect rooms and common areas, and enforce rules
• Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services
• Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
• Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
• Cross-train other departments including breakfast and laundry

Qualifications:

• Experience with Hotel PMS: e.g. Opera
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a passion for providing exceptional service.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Organizational skills.
• Desire to learn and grow.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule, ability to work holidays, nights and weekends.
• Computer proficiency and experience with hotel management software is a plus.
• Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred.
