Overview:
A leading multi-specialty medical group in Manhattan is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join its growing outpatient practice. The position offers a modern clinical environment, access to an advanced endoscopy center, and a partnership track with substantial earning potential.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for gastrointestinal disorders in an outpatient setting.
Perform standard GI procedures including endoscopy, colonoscopy, and related diagnostic evaluations.
Interpret test results and collaborate with internal medicine, surgery, and specialty providers for coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Participate in ongoing quality improvement, peer collaboration, and patient education initiatives.
Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence and efficiency in a high-volume practice environment.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
Active or eligible for New York State medical license.
Strong procedural skills in general gastroenterology; advanced endoscopy experience is welcome but not required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive base salary of $450,000 $650,000 annually.
Additional RVU-based bonuses for productivity.
