Tyto Athene is hiring a dynamic **IT Policy Analyst** to support our Federal Customer in Washington, DC.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Interpret and apply government regulations, NIST requirements, and executive orders to support policy and compliance efforts.
+ Update and maintain organizational policies, procedures, and handbooks to ensure accuracy, alignment, and consistency.
+ Conduct research to evaluate industry standards and best practices, comparing them to existing customer policies and providing informed recommendations.
+ Apply strong process-orientation and attention to detail to support operational consistency and governance.
+ Review and synthesize large volumes of information, contributing foundational content and context for written materials without serving as the primary writer.
+ Support the development and maintenance of IT policies, procedures, and standards to meet compliance and organizational requirements.
+ Assess IT risks, identify process improvement opportunities, and assist in audit or compliance-related initiatives.
+ Utilize foundational business or technical analysis skills to understand requirements and assist in organizational planning and decision-making.
**Qualifications**
**Requ** **ired:**
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, and 4 years of relevant experience.
+ Experience analyzing and improving IT-related business processes and systems, including assessing impacts on governance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
+ Ability to translate organizational IT needs and policy requirements into clear, actionable technical requirements.
+ Experience supporting IT-focused change management initiatives, including policy rollouts, stakeholder communications, and user training.
+ Background in organizational and strategic planning within IT, technology governance, or enterprise operations.
+ Demonstrated expertise in Configuration Management, Strategic Planning, Knowledge Management, Business Analysis, and Technical Analysis as they relate to IT policy development and implementation.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Clearance:**
+ US Citizenship with the ability to Obtain a Public Trust Clearance
+ DoD Secret Clearance (preferred)
**Location:**
+ Hybrid-remote in Washington, DC, with expected 2-3 days on-site per week
