Lead Software Engineer - Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL

 

On-site in Plano, TX - NO REMOTE. Â NO HYBRID

Salary Range: $150,000 - $165,000

Bonus Potential: 15%

 

Drive the development of innovative, scalable applications using Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL. Lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software, providing technical guidance while fostering collaboration and mentorship.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design and development of scalable full-stack features using Node.js, React, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Â
• Build RESTful APIs and reusable React components, ensuring cross-browser compatibility. Â
• Provide architectural direction, enforcing best practices in coding, testing, and documentation. Â
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, QA) to gather requirements and deliver on time. Â
• Mentor junior/mid-level engineers, conducting one-on-ones to support growth. Â
• Own technical projects, define timelines, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Â
• 7+ years in software engineering with expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL. Â
• Proficiency in Node.js, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB/Redis. Â
• 2+ years with MongoDB/Redis and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, MQ). Â
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), DevOps, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Â
• In-depth knowledge of database design, Agile/Scrum, and unit/end-to-end testing. Â
• Excellent communication and analytical skills to resolve issues and convey technical concepts.
