This position will work with a team of engineers to design energy efficient buildings for various clients for CMTA. The successful candidate is a self-motivated individual that thrives on helping clients and has the technical background to be involved in and lead all phases of our work. The entry-level engineer works closely with the project manager to assist and support them. Below are some of the duties this position includes. **Responsibilities:** + Prepare, read, and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications + Interact with owners, clients, architects, and contractors as needed with verbal and written communication + Evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks + Confer with other engineers and other personnel to complete project deadlines + Apply knowledge of engineering principles and research, design, and evaluate products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet project requirements + Design and specify system components to ensure conformance with project goals and requirements + Produce high level contract documents using Revit + Review contractor submittals (shop drawings, etc) to determine conformance with contract documents + Other duties as assigned **Required Experience:** + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field + Experience with a consulting engineering firm is preferred **Desired Skills:** + Construction or engineering experience preferred + Experience with Revit/Computer Drafting + FE Registration with potential for PE **About Legence** Legence ( (Nasdaq: LGN) is a leading provider of engineering, consulting, installation, and maintenance services for mission-critical systems in buildings.
