Job Title: Printing Prepress Specialist

Our growing Hudson, NH print solutions company is currently seeking an individual who is highly motivated, enthusiastic and dependable to work in our fast-paced and rewarding environment. You must demonstrate attention to detail and have solid communication skills. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience as a prepress department employee of a digital and sheet-fed offset printing and mailing services provider. The candidate needs to have a strong background in offset and digital printing and in particular a strong understanding of imposition (Preps). Must be able problem solve and work through imperfect customer supplied files and work in a fast paced but patient and easy going work environment.

Applicants must have a full understanding of the offset and digital press print and bindery process as it relates to prepress and the overall successful completion of jobs. Candidates who possess fluency with the Kodak Prinergy, Preps, Kodak InSite Portal, and EFI Pace workflows are preferred. In addition, experience on both Apple and Microsoft OS's and a working knowledge and a working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Adobe CC, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Enfocus Pitstop Pro, Quark and Microsoft applications is required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Prepress Manager, you will be working closely with internal Account Management and Prepress department colleagues.
• Perform, troubleshoot and cohesively report preflight analysis of new file submissions.
• Upload, download, or post proof files to customer servers when necessary.
• Perform traditional prepress departmental tasks on an as-needed basis such as file manipulation, creating .pdf proofs from supplied application files, performing color correction, press imposition and creating Epson G7 Color proofs.
