Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in Rocky Mount to join our team providing high quality primary care in an office based setting.

Job Responsibilities:

Examine, obtain medical history and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
Order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests.
Create treatment plans, and involve patients and family members in those plans.
Initiate appropriate specialty referrals.
Collaborate on improvement in care delivery and service with management, other physicians and staff.
Work with the care team to close care gaps and improve quality measures.
Participate in Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and Accountable Care Organization (ACO) initiatives.
Work with practice management to ensure compliance with billing and coding requirements.
Provide on-call coverage within the primary care group.

Salary of $240K-280K.

Job Details:

Board-certified/Clean License.
2 years in Family Medicine.
MD/DO – QTY 2.
LARGE clinic total 12 providers (both MD/DO and Midlevel’s).
Growing practice.
Salary will be in the ballpark of $240 - $280K.
M-Friday 8-5.
Mix age patient panel.
Family Practice.
Predominantly Private Insurance.
Outpatient only.
8 patients a day.
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. There is an on-call rotation every 12 weeks that includes a short Saturday shift from 9am-1pm.

Requirements:

Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine
Licensed medical doctor (MD/DO) with the state of North Carolina (we would assist with obtaining an NC license if needed!)
