RN – Nurse Educator
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 40 hours/week
Pay: Up to $3,000/Week
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking RN – Nurse Educator for an exciting job in Brooklyn, NY.
ResponsibilitiesPlan, develop, and conduct educational programs for nursing personnel, focusing on Medical/Surgical and Labor & Delivery units.
Serve as a clinical mentor and resource, guiding nurses in evidence-based practices and skill development.
Collaborate with nursing leadership to assess training needs and implement effective learning strategies.
Support new staff orientation and ongoing competency evaluations to ensure compliance with clinical standards.
Maintain accurate records of education sessions, evaluations, and staff progress.
Provide hands-on clinical support as needed, utilizing at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) required; BSN preferred.
Active New York RN license (Primary Source Verification via NYSED).
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience; Med/Surg background preferred.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
