Job Description

Tremron LLC, part of The QUIKRETE® Companies, LLC the leading packaged cement and concrete products producer, has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Safety and Process Control Supervisor for our Jacksonville, FL facility.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with an extensive EH&S experience.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for oversight, implementation, and continuous improvement of Pavestone’s Safety and Health program
• Performs new employee training and onboarding as it relates to the safety program
• Active in monthly plant trainings as well as task specific safety training
• Works alongside Plant Manager and General Manager on environmental compliance
• Participates in company safety committee
• Conducts incident investigations to determine root cause & corrective actions.
• Performs periodic site assessments
• Serves as a safety “coach” and is a resource for all plant employees

Job Qualifications/Requirements: 

• College degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety will accept practical experience in lieu of degree
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Must have strong leadership and collaboration skills
• Must have strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus but not required
• Strong computer knowledge along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Must be able to wear all required PPE (Hard hat, safety glasses, safety footwear, and hearing protection)
