• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on heavy machinery and construction equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on a variety of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Repair or replace defective parts and components as necessary to ensure safety and reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on equipment.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanics and apprentices in best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers to schedule machine repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Experience and manual dexterity using hand tools and other equipment is needed
• Excellent work ethic, listening, problem-solving, and communication skills are desired
• Associate’s degree from a vocational program, technical school, or community college is preferred - ASE certification is a big bonus
• A valid driver’s license is necessary
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must be willing to work hard.
