A day in this role
It’s 1:55 PM in Minneapolis, and you’re prepping for a 2:00 PM start. You review the job ticket, pull stock, and bring a KBA 105 or 106 six- or seven-color 40-inch press up to spec. By 3:00 PM, you’re dialing in ink and water balance to nail brand-critical colors. Throughout the evening, you keep a sharp eye on registration, density, and consistency—troubleshooting on the fly, coordinating with production, and keeping the press area spotless and safe. At 11:59 PM, your final sheets look just like the first: crisp, accurate, and production ready.

Where you’ll work & when

Set up, operate, and maintain sheetfed lithographic presses (KBA 105/106; 6- and 7-color, 40-inch).
Monitor press performance and output to ensure consistent, high-quality print results.
Adjust ink and water balance to achieve optimal color and clarity.
Perform routine maintenance and resolve mechanical or print-related issues.
Partner with the production team to meet deadlines and achieve throughput goals.
Keep your press and surrounding area organized and clean.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies without compromise.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing technology is a plus.
Proven experience as a litho press operator or in a closely related printing role.
Strong grasp of offset printing processes, materials, and equipment.
Exceptional attention to detail paired with solid problem-solving ability.
Comfort working independently as well as within a team environment.
Clear communication skills and a positive, professional approach.
Flexibility to work overtime when required.
