We're hiring a  full-time W-2 Special Education Teacher  to provide  K–8 school-based services  for the 2025–2026 school year . Whether you're an experienced special education teacher or new to the field, you’ll be supported by a team that understands the real challenges and joys of this work—and is here to help you thrive.

Position Details

• Caseload:  K-8 Charter School
• Schedule:  Monday – Friday
• Hours:  37.5 – 40 hours/week
• Dates:  ASAP – May 2026
• Location:  Onsite in Boise, ID

Responsibilities

• Deliver specially designed instruction aligned with IEP goals
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance
• Adapt curriculum and materials to meet diverse learning needs
• Participate and lead IEP meetings and communicate regularly with families

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education or relevant area.
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
• Passion for inclusive education and supporting all learners
