**Job Title: Drywall Finisher / Taper** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drywall Finisher / Taper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing drywall surfaces for painting or finishing by taping, mudding, and sanding joints and imperfections. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality interior finishes for residential and commercial projects. **Responsibilities** Apply tape and compound to drywall seams and corners Smooth out imperfections using sanding tools and techniques Inspect drywall installations for quality and completeness Mix and apply compound using hand and power tools Work with other trades to ensure timely project completion Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow blueprints and specifications when required **Essential Skills** Proven experience as a drywall taper/finisher Strong knowledge of drywall finishing techniques and tools Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical stamina and dexterity for lifting, bending, and standing Attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable transportation to job sites **Work Environment** New construction and renovation projects throughout Long Island and NYC. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25- $35.00/hr.
