Amergis Staffing is currently seeking experienced and qualified Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for a psychiatric facility in Kinston, NC. The details for these positions are as follows: Position Description: The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The PMH nurse works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable. Position Details: + Days 6a-6:30p rotating with 9a-9:30p + 36/48 rotation + Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend + Length of Contract: 16 weeks initially.13 weeks for renewals.
