Job Summary: TheraCare Home Health is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler to manage client and staff schedules across multiple locations. You will maintain accurate scheduling, coordinate staffing needs, and address day-to-day changes with care providers and clients. Additional responsibilities include generating and interpreting reports, managing visit utilization and employee productivity, and supporting patient safety.
Qualifications Qualifications: - High School Graduate (college preferred)
- Licensed Vocational Nurse, per the state requirements.
- Prior scheduling experience preferred with multiple disciplines
- Good computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel, Outlook
- Experience using HomeCare HomeBase preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
- Ability to articulate interpretation of reports
- Excellent customer services skills, both internal and external
- Well organized with the proven ability to be efficient while multi tasking
Essential Functions: - Understands and adheres to established TheraCare Home Health policies and procedures
- Maintains accurate scheduling for clients and staff for multiple disciplines
- Contacts care providers and clients regarding day-to-day changes
- Provides staffing for sick leave, vacation, long term leave
- Produces reports and articulates interpretation to the administrator
- First line in visit utilization, missed visits and employee productivity
- Discerns client services required as outlined in agreements, urgent requests and care plans
- Responsible for assuring patient/resident safety.
- Performs other duties as assigned
